Abstract:The paper presents a human-machine design approach to the artistic and metaphoric representation of the traditional weaving scene of Yunjin brocade as interactive Moiré patterns accompanied by Nanjing Baiju. We extract the basic elements of Moiré patterns and systematically recompose them to mimic the weaving process.
