“…Results show that IF, PF and SC are significant to the ER based on the hypotheses ( H2a , H2b and H2c ). Our findings are consistent with Konovsky (2000) and Zhang et al (2020). As mentioned in previous studies, the fairness dimension is associated with the seller's policy, which emphasises pre- and post-purchase support, including access, friendly interaction, communication support service and procedural and documentation compliance.…”

“…As elaborated in Section 2.1, this study believes the importance of fair resource distribution and the consequences of exchange relationships from the “giver” side of justice are the only actors that might affect the connection between sharing returns and each party's actual commitment and obligation. Fairness as the common rule of distributive justice can only be provided by the “provider” of justice (Zhang et al , 2020) rather than a recipient of justice to produce fruitful implications towards effective product return concerning the halal supply chain. Fulfilling this dimension by the business organisation (provider of justice) might prevent the consumer’s resentment (the receivers) and other negative consequences such as disruption of current exchanges, the jeopardy in adaptation and a decline in commitment, all of which lead to the relationship's eventual demise.…”

“…irdly, some discuss the interaction of fairness concerns and other behavioral factors. For example, Zhang et al [58] analyzed the interactive effect between fairness concerns and overconfidence, and Huang et al [59] probed how fairness concerns interacted with risk aversion.…”

“…In the supply chain of agricultural products, production is often affected by weather, the environment, and human factors and is exposed to uncertainty risks, which significantly affect the production and operation activities of farmers [1,2]. In the face of uncertain yield risks, different farmers may show different behavioural preferences, such as risk aversion [3], fairness concerns [4], stockout aversion (SA), waste aversion (WA), or stockout and waste aversion (SW) preferences [5]. Additionally, owing to the long production cycle and recovery cost time of agricultural products, farmers face financial pressure and usually adopt a specific financing mode to solve financial constraints, such as bank loans, advance payments, trade credits, and internal financing.…”
