Abstract:Diabetes mellitus is a serious and most prevailing glycemic disorder mainly managed by using allopathic medicines. Due to various side effects of allopathic drugs, till today medicinal plants were widely used in treating diabetes. Among them, spices like Coriander sativum L. play a prominent role in managing diabetes. Type-2 diabetic patients use oral hypoglycemic drugs and also follow herbal remedies.
