Abstract: BackgroundTelmisartan (TLT) is a prototypic angiotensin receptor blocker largely used to treat hypertension worldwide. In addition to its cardioprotective effects, TLT presents pleiotropic activities and notably displays noticeable anti-inflammatory and antitumor effects.
