Abstract: To achieve long-term and efficient gas extraction in soft, low-permeability coal seams, this study conducted hydraulic fracturing experiments on coal-rock complexes under true triaxial conditions. The pattern of hydraulic fractures (HFs) was reconstructed based on the fractal dimension concept.
