In technical courses in informatics there is a need todevelop students' basic skills. The project-based approachand gamification make this development possible, it allowsthe development of the solution based on the perspective ofa game designer, natural for digital natives. Aiming toachieve interdisciplinarity between technical andpropaedeutic disciplines, these methodological approacheswere used to develop a digital volleyball game. The gamewas developed using the object-oriented programmingparadigm, for the interactive and creative interface design,the 80's indie style pixel-arts was used. The validation of thegame's functionality was carried out through tests, thesetests were made by volunteer students and adjustmentsaccording to their feedback. Thus, the application of activelearning methodologies contributed to the success of theinterdisciplinary, achieved with the development of thedigital game by the students.
