Inter-Regionalism Revisited: Theory and Political Reality of Europe-Asia Relations

Abstract: While some authors have suggested that theoretical contributions to the study of interregionalism mostly lack sufficient empirical proof, this article shows that there is ample evidence to support key prepositions of all three schools of thought in the debate (neorealism, liberal institutionalism and social constructivism).
