“…In another work, Wang et al used a solvothermal in situ self-assembly strategy to construct interplanar 2D/2D heterostructures between La 2 Ti 2 O 7 and Ti 3 C 2 MXene, which improved the photocatalytic activity of MXene. “…This unique feature enables the incorporation of a wide range of elements at the A and B sites without losing structural integrity, which helps tailor the physicochemical properties according to specific applications. Among the various perovskite materials, lanthanum orthoferrite stands out for its environmentally friendly characteristics, stability under aqueous, thermal and reducing conditions, and the small band gap that can be induced by the visible region of the solar spectrum. Additionally, it can serve as a suitable heterogeneous Fenton catalyst due to the redox center Fe 3+ ↔ Fe 2+ .
