Abstract:Skin photo-aging is mainly caused by ultraviolet (UV) irradiation. Intense pulsed light (IPL) is a widely used nonablative treatment for photo-aging, while the mechanism is unclear. Here, we investigate the anti-photoaging effects of IPL and the underlying mechanism.
