Intelligent Windcatcher: A Combination of Modern and Traditional Technology

Abstract: In this paper, a novel idea to prepare indoor fresh air by an environmentally friendly way is proposed. In this design we are inspired by traditional windcatchers which have been being used for centuries in torrid region of Iran. Theirs unique feature of in-dependency to costly energy sources have made them suitable choices specially for not fully developed areas.
