Abstract:The ePR system was able to facilitate the proton therapy workflow. The PT ePR system was feasible for prostate cancer patient treated with hypofractionation protocol in proton therapy. This ePR system improves efficiency in data collection and integration to facilitate outcomes analysis.
“…This system is designed based on the electronic patient record (ePR) methodology for proton therapy [9] that was developed by Le et al The design has been restructured and expanded to fit current objectives. The decision support module and discussion sections will highlight previous publications and systems related to this work [10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18].…”

The radiation therapy treatment planning decision support system presented here can assist clinicians in determining good dose constraints and assessing dose distributions by using knowledge gained from retrospective treatment plans.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
