Intellevator: An Intelligent Elevator System Proactive in Traffic Control for Time-Efficiency Improvement

Abstract: Elevator functioning as a vertical transport facility remains stand-alone and incapable of accessing the fine-grained traffic information. It significantly restricts the flexibility and efficiency of vertical transporting. In particular, while in peak-time, the limited elevator physical capacity with the momentary traffic increment gives rise to the vertical traffic bottleneck problem in large-scale buildings. The problem further results in the long waiting, dissatisfaction, frustration of passengers. In this … Show more

“…Performance expectancy is an important factor that impacts the behavior intention (Baudier et al, 2020; Cabrera-Sánchez et al, 2021; Cimperman et al, 2016; Shaw & Sergueeva, 2019). The intelligent elevator can passively function as an elevator system that is proactive and intelligent in traffic control, which optimizes transport efficiency (Hangli et al, 2020). The above description indicates that intelligent elevators can save consumer time and increase their intention of using them.…”

“…Facilitating conditions are defined as the factors regarding which an individual believes the technology or organization can support them. The intelligent elevator solves the bottleneck problem in large-scale buildings (Hangli et al, 2020), using which consumers save time compared to a normal elevator. Prior research has examined the facilitating conditions in various contexts.…”

“…In large cities, passenger traffic is quite high, which necessitates research to study and analyze the effective operation of the control system during rush hours in residential buildings and working hours in office buildings. The software of modern elevator control systems facilitates this task and allows you to monitor the dynamics of operation and load in real time [2,3].…”

“…The wind wheel can basically maintain a speed between 10.6-19 rpm, and can be replaced at any time during the operation of the wind turbine. In fact, it is also directly connected to the pitch control system, thus providing better energy output for the whole system and blade shape [15]. The blade shape is optimized in the development of wind turbine, and the final blade design fully conforms to aerodynamics and high-precision technology.…”
