Abstract: Common disorders of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, such as gastroesophageal reflux/disease (GER/D) and constipation, are frequent causes for seeking medical support in infants. Diagnostic workup must ensure that diagnosed diseases are responsible for such complaints, thus enabling appropriate therapy.
