Integration of the modified Butler matrix and decoupling network for beam‐steering antenna array

Abstract: In this article, the design and realization of a planar microstrip array antenna with a 4 Â 4 modified Butler matrix is presented. The proposed switched-beam smart antenna operates at 4.95 GHz. The significant purpose of this research is mutual coupling reduction between antennas of the array.
