PurposeThe purpose of this study is to explore the effects of transformational leadership on learning organization and nurses' innovative behavior. Furthermore, this study aims to explore the mediating role of learning organization in the relationship between transformational leadership and nurse innovative behavior in the healthcare context. As there is a paucity of research examining these relationships, this study bridges the research gaps in the literature.Design/methodology/approachA cross-sectional survey was used. Using convenience sampling, the data of 228 nurses from 5 public hospitals in Vietnam were collected via questionnaires. A structural equation model (SEM) was used to empirically test the hypotheses.FindingsThe findings show significant positive effects of transformational leadership on learning organization and nurses’ innovative behavior. Furthermore, a significant positive relationship between learning organization and nurses’ innovative behavior was also supported. Finally, the partial mediating role of learning organization is significant in this study.Originality/valueTo the best of the author's knowledge, this article is the first of its kind to identify the minimal literature available on the impact of transformational leadership on learning organization and nurses’ innovative behavior. This article also contributes to extending knowledge about the mediating role of learning organization in the healthcare context. Highlighting the importance of transformational leadership, the findings offer guidance for healthcare organizations that aim to strengthen nurses’ innovative behavior.

This study aims to examine how employee involvement, leadership, and innovation-related actions are linked in small businesses in Saudi Arabia. As Saudi Arabia works on diversifying its economy and considers innovation essential for growth, this research seeks to identify key factors and processes that promote innovation in companies. A survey was conducted across different small businesses in Saudi Arabia to gather information from employees. Advanced statistical methods, like structural equation modeling (SEM), were used to analyze the data and understand the relationships being studied. The results show a strong, positive link between how engaged employees are and their innovation-related actions in Saudi Arabian small businesses. The study also reveals how crucial leadership is in this process, demonstrating how leaders can either encourage or hinder employees' ability to contribute to innovation. These findings are useful for small business owners and leaders in Saudi Arabia, guiding them on how to foster an environment that supports innovation and improves their competitive edge in the global market. This research is also valuable for policymakers, business leaders, and academics interested in promoting innovation and long-term growth in this vital part of Saudi Arabia's economy.

Objective: This study investigates the relationship between organizational culture, spiritual leadership, workplace spirituality, innovative behavior, and organizational performance in SMEs in Madura]. Theoretical Framework: The study enriches the understanding of the role of organizational culture, spiritual leadership, and spirituality in organizational performance Method: Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis from 35 SME owners and employees in four districts of Madura. Results and Discussion: Results show that an organizational culture that emphasizes spiritual values such as integrity, fairness, and empathy has a positive impact on organizational performance. Spiritual leadership is instrumental in shaping an organizational culture that supports these values and champions employee well-being, thus creating a productive and meaningful work environment. Spirituality at work serves as a significant mediator between organizational culture, spiritual leadership, and organizational performance. Employees who perceive spiritual values in the organizational culture are more connected to their work and have higher intrinsic motivation, which increases innovative behavior and organizational performance Research Implications: These findings can be used by organizational leaders and human resource managers to develop effective strategies for creating an organizational culture that supports high-performance and continuous innovation. However, this study had methodological limitations that should be addressed in future research.
