Integration of Domain Ontologies in the Repository of Website Evaluation Methods

Abstract: Abstract-Many methods can be used for the evaluation of website quality. While they can be used for different purposes and require different assessment approaches it is not easy to select proper method adequate to the needs. Presented research is focused on building a repository of knowledge about the methods for the assessing the quality of website. The repository in the form of ontologies covers various methods of quality assessment and makes possible their proper selection. Proposed approach was verified wi… Show more

“…Moreover, further research ought to deal with the development of an ontology [58] for sustainability decision problems where there is uncertainty of input data relating to the performance of alternatives, weights of criteria and the decision-maker's preferences. Presenting the fuzzy decision problem dealing with sustainability in the form of an ontology would make it possible to infer new knowledge [59,60] from the decision model. Yet another interesting research challenge would be to prepare global sensitivity and uncertainty analyses (GSUA) that can highlight the uncertainty, sensitivity and complexity of the model/data and indicate potential management strategies in relation to the modelled patterns.…”

“…A natural direction of further work is to extend the decision model with other criteria and sub-criteria of evaluating onshore wind farms as well as to include other RES decision problems in the metamodel. Furthermore, an interesting issue would be presenting the decision model in the form of an ontology, what would make it possible to infer new knowledge from the model [104]. It would also be a natural development of the functionality of the model in the direction of an ontological knowledge base.…”

“…The best course of action would be to add criteria and sub-criteria of evaluations of wind farms, as well as other RES factors to the model. It would also be interesting to present the decision model in the form of an ontology [51], which would enable the deduction of new information from the model [52], [53]. The performance of the model would also move in a smoother manner towards the application of DSS in other situations.…”
