Stanic et al [71] integrated the toxicogenomic data of human vascular endothelial cells (ECs) in order to infer pathways, molecular activities, biological processes, and human diseases related to DBP exposure. Nine genes, including six members of the integrin family, VCAM1, ICAM1, and MMP2, were found to be affected by DBP exposure, according to these authors, who concluded that changes in the DBP-affected genes could affect the extracellular matrix and the binding of molecules and cells to ECs, changing cell adhesion and migration.…”
