The typical food traceability system’s data layer is made up of relational databases managed by core businesses, which cannot ensure data security. It is inefficient and requires a lot of upkeep. The food supply chain has numerous actors, making it difficult for consumers to safeguard their rights when purchasing food with quality issues. Due to the numerous organizations involved in the food supply chain, food safety monitoring and traceability have become challenging. The supply chain’s major organizations have control and administrative authority over the data under the current food traceability system, which is overly centralized for traceability information. The safety and dependability of food may be ensured by using the food traceability system to track food information. We can witness a series of detailed insights into food from the manufacturing source to the consumption terminal. A blockchain-based food tracking system is created as a solution to these issues. On the Ethereum platform, the system was created. It was also employed in the blockchain system, in addition to its features of decentralization, tamper-proof, and traceability. To implement the data update service and the food recall function, introduce the Food and Drug Administration node. Consumers have the option to not only enquire about food traceability throughout the manufacturing process but also to file complaints regarding the traceability system’s rights protection.

In the present times, the healthcare sector has seen an enormous growth in the usage of technology ranging from EHRs (electronic health records) to personal health trackers. Currently, there is a need for managing EHRs effectively with respect to storage, privacy and security measures. State-of-art technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) are applied in the healthcare domain. Innovation in AI is steadily advancing and is finding its place in different industries. The integration of blockchain and AI looks promising as there are several benefits. Blockchain can make the AI more secure and autonomous whereas AI can drive the blockchain with intelligence. The objective of this article is to explore the uses of blockchain as well as AI technology in the field of healthcare. We aim to survey the advantages, issues and challenges of integrating blockchain with AI technology, including future research directions in the healthcare domain. In this study, Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) rules and an efficient searching protocol were used to examine several scientific databases to recognize and investigate every important publication. A solid systematic review was carried out on integration of blockchain and AI in the healthcare domain to identify existing challenges and benefits of integrating these two technologies in healthcare. Our study found that the integration of AI and blockchain technology has a potential to provide several benefits in terms of performance and security which conventional EHRs lack. The inherent benefits of blockchain and AI together are limitless, but the bare outcomes based on blockchain powered by AI technology are yet to be obtained. In addition, the outcome of our detailed study may aid researchers to carry out further research.

<p>Rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) has permeated various aspects of our lives. Its usage in the field of healthcare has shown significant improvement in the efficiency and efficacy of numerous aspects of healthcare services. However, wide applications of AI technologies in healthcare are also joined by ethical challenges threatening the privacy and security of public health. This study conducts a content analysis on primary organization and government documents related to ethical issues of AI in healthcare. While the transparency and explainability of AI technologies have been granted a great amount of focus, more region-specific discussions are in need. Inclusiveness and equity of access to AI technology in healthcare should also be considered more by regulators and practitioners when proposing future standards and legislation frameworks. </p>
