Genetic algorithm (GA) can improve the classification of the face recognition process in the principal component analysis (PCA). However, the accuracy of this algorithm for the smart home security system has not been further analyzed. This paper presents the accuracy of face recognition using PCA-GA for the smart home security system on Raspberry Pi. PCA was used as the face recognition algorithm, while GA to improve the classification performance of face image search. The PCA-GA algorithm was implemented on the Raspberry Pi. If an authorized person accesses the door of the house, the relay circuit will unlock the door. The accuracy of the system was compared to other face recognition algorithms, namely LBPH-GA and PCA. The results show that PCA-GA face recognition has an accuracy of 90 %, while PCA and LBPH-GA have 80 % and 90 %, respectively.

Garage automation and security have been a favoured concern with technological advancement. In this paper, developed garage access security and automation system are proposed with the affiliated control of the biometric fingerprint recognition and password verification system. Here, fingerprint recognition is restricted to the registered vehicle owners of the garage, while everyone is permitted to access through a password verification system. The affiliation of the dual-sensing system is intended to maintain robust security and to retain the record of any driver's access without the vehicle owners. Moreover, the system is enriched with a subtle design of the access door and its operation mechanism. Power screw-driven door operation is utilised to convert the rotating motion of the motor to linear motion and slide the door open or close. The requisite motor torque, revolution per minute, and power requirement for door control by the screw operation are also calculated and verified.

In today’s world, individuals show more enthusiasm for robotics and aim to depend upon humanoid robots for multiple purposes. It has implementations in a wide range of sectors such as- in atomic plants, house management, government foundations and even astro stations. Our research-based project is elucidating robotics with a tiny humanoid robot following the human structure to make gestures like strolling, dancing, and detecting objects near it. It has been achieved using Arduino Nano (Atmega 328P), Servo motors SG90 working on the conception of servomechanism and the Ultrasonic sensor to identify obstacles and restrain the Robot from going ahead. The aim is to fabricate a bigger humanoid robot that will serve our general public and make our life simpler. The Robot has eventual utilize in marketing, entertainment and helping the visually impaired to move from one place to another. This project can also be a great apparatus for future research works and alteration.
