Integrated nutrient management in Oat (Avena sativa L.)under reclaimed sodic soil

Abstract: Results indicated that all the treatment showed significant response over control. Maximum plant height at 120 days (157.7 cm), tillersplant -1 at 90 days (6.4), length of spike (38.7 cm), test weight (28.6 g), grain yield (34.9 q ha -1 ), straw yield (82.8 q ha -1 ) were recorded with T 2 -NPK (80:40:40 kg ha -1 ) which was significantly higher than all the treatments except T 3 -½ NPK (40:20:20 kg ha -1 ) + FYM (10 t ha -1 ) and T 4 -½ NPK + FYM (10 t ha -1 ) + Trichoderma, followed by treatment T 6 -½ NPK +… Show more

“…This might be due to increased efficiency and cumulative synergistic effect of combined application of PSB and BGA resulting increased uptake of nutrients due to balanced supply of plant nutrients. This result was similar to the findings of Bahadur et al (2013) [3] and they further reported that increase in apparent nutrient recovery in rice increased with increasing nutrients levels either through inorganic or including organics and/ or bio-fertilizers.…”

“…Proteins are formed by merging amino acids and releasing water molecules. Similar findings have been reported by Anjum et al (2022) [2] , Sharma et al (2004) [68] , Chauhan et al (2013) [10] , and Raghav et al (2023) [55] .…”

“…Olsen NaHCO 3 protocol was adopted for determination of P in soil 87 . The lime content was calculated by titration method 88 , texture by Bahadur et al 89 while, soil OM content was quantified by the method of Nelson and Sommer 90 . Polemio and Rhoades 88 protocol was used for determination of soil cation exchange capacity.…”
