Abstract: BackgroundFecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) is an effective treatment of recurrent Clostridioides difficile infections (rCDI). In comparison, FMT has more limited efficacy in treating either ulcerative colitis (UC) or Crohn’s disease (CD), two major forms of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD).
