Industrial organizations continuously seek to apply the foundations of total production planning strategies because of its positive role in helping these organizations determine the quantity of production required to meet market demand in the presence of crises and challenges such as epidemics and natural disasters, as well as accurately determining the organization's needs of workers, time and storage. Without an increase in that, this contributes to helping the organization reduce the total costs incurred by the product lab increase profits and achieve customer satisfaction by providing the product to him on time and at the appropriate cost. Through a case study in it, and to determine the sample of the study, the North Gas Company was chosen as a representative sample of other Iraqi gas companies. The study reached many conclusions, the most important of which was the company's suffering from the high cost of storage and the number of workers too large, which made the cost higher than your revenue. Harmony Search Algorithm contributed to reducing these costs and enhancing and improving revenues. The study also presented many proposals that address the problems of total planning. The company's production, thus improving its financial position.

The Beverage Packaging Industry is a company that produce ready-to-drink drinks that produces Box Bottle Tea (BBT) 250 slim products. This product is sent to several customers and distributors throughout Indonesia. During 2020 the demand for this product has increased. In addition, the increasing demand also fluctuated significantly so the company was unable to predict production schedule. The continuity of the production process to meet consumer demand requires good production planning. The purpose of this research is to plan and control the production process of BBT 250 slim to obtain optimal raw material requirements. This study uses the method of Linear Regression and Aggregate Planning. Based on the analysis with Linear Regression, this study resulted in a model Y=319.575+3.723X, meaning that if demand decreases, the amount of production also decreases. This model is very useful for the Beverage Packaging Industry in planning and controlling raw materials for production. Calculation of raw material requirements for BBT 250 slim products results in an efficiency of raw materials than usual forecasting.

Inventory of raw materials is one of the crucial problems in the company. Errors in determining the size of raw material inventory is very influential for the smooth production of the company. PT Semen Bosowa Maros is a private company that focuses on cement production. This study aims to avoid excess and shortage of raw materials by calculating the amount of raw material inventory at PT Semen Bosowa Maros. This study uses the Min-Max Stock method. The research data was obtained from the company's annual data with related parties. The results of the study obtained safety stock values of Silica Sand 166.46 ton’s, Gypsum 1482.96 ton’s, Fly Ash 33.71 ton’s, and Trass 30.76 ton’s. Then, the minimum inventory calculation is carried out, it is known that the minimum inventory results are found in Trass raw materials of 260.18 ton’s while the results for maximum inventory are in Gypsum of 22117.18 ton’s. After calculating the min-max, an order policy can be obtained for each material, Silica Sand 1074.85 ton’s, Gypsum 9575.63 ton’s, Fly Ash 217.68 ton’s, and Trass 198.65 ton’s.
