Insulin Signaling Suppresses Autophagy in Astrocytes

Abstract: Insulin is a peptide hormone produced in the pancreas that is crucial in regulating systemic glucose homeostasis and energy balance. Diabetes mellitus is an endocrine disease that can be broken down into two subtypes.
