Background: A "smart hospital" is a concept in which various kinds of data can be automatically acquired and analyzed. The acquired data may include patient, staff, device, facility, environmental, and financial data. The Internet of Things (IoT) is a hot topic worldwide, with IoT Systems being introduced to a wide variety of settings, including in the medical field. IoT systems are essential to making a hospital smart. However, the benefits of its use will be not realized if the infrastructure necessary for efficient IoT is not in place. Methods:The present situation of and problems with the introduction of IoT into hospitals are summarized, with a focus on the electromagnetic environment. Results:The careful introduction of an IoT system can result in time-savings by the hospital staff, time that can be used for patient treatment and improving the hospital environment, which leads to raising the quality of treatment. Conclusion:In order to install and make IoT systems work safely and efficiently, managing the environment is the most important consideration, especially for wireless communication. The type and composition of IoT depends on the infrastructure, including the environment. Figure: 1 Structure of an IoT type information system.

The introduction of wireless communication technology into large Japanese hospitals is rapidly progressing. However, many hospitals are having problems, such as inadequate signal range, electromagnetic interference by waves generated inside/outside the hospital, or by devices carried in by the staff or patients, and some have problems with network security. Here we show illustrations of these problems and give solutions that might be considered. Streszczenie. Wprowadzanie technologii komunikacji bezprzewodowej w dużych szpitalach w Japonii postępuje bardzo szybko. Jednak w wielu szpitalach występują problemy, takie jak niedostateczny poziom sygnału, zakłócenia w postaci fal elektromagnetycznych wytwarzanych wewnątrz i na zewnątrz szpitali lub generowanych przez urządzenia noszone przez personel lub pacjentów, a w niektórych przypadkach problemy z zabezpieczeniem sieci. W artykule zaprezentowano te problemy oraz zaproponowano rozwiązania, które mogą być zastosowane. (Problemy i rozwiązania w związku z wprowadzeniem technologii komunikacji bezprzewodowej w jednostkach opieki medycznej).

In this technology, <span>information can be transmitted through the air without the need for cables, wires, or other electronic connectors, using electromagnetic waves such as infrared, radio and satellite frequencies. In this research, the most important challenges and problems faced by wireless communication systems were identified and how to solve and address them. (IEEE 802.11aWLAN) was also simulated and tested using Mat lab program, where the signal generated in (IEEE 802.11aWLAN) was examined in the form of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) modulation by examining the performance of the bit error rate of this system using diversity technology to improve the performance of this system where we adopted the reception diversity technology, In the case of line of sight (LOS) channel and multipath channel using maximal ratio combining (MRC) method. We notice that the use of the MRC receiving diversity technique in the system reduces the bit error rate and increases the efficiency of the system and the performance improve with increase the number of receiving antenna with gain 6 dB.</span>
