Abstract: Human noroviruses (HuNoVs) are a significant cause of both epidemic and sporadic acute gastroenteritis worldwide. The lack of a reproducible culture system for HuNoVs was a major obstacle in studying virus replication and pathogenesis for almost a half- century.
