Insights into chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patient attitudes on ventilatory support

Abstract: Physicians should consider the discussion of end-of-life issues preferably when patients are stable. Decision aids may prove to be a valuable adjunct in framing treatments such as mechanical ventilation.
