Insightful Facts on Peristalsis Flow of Water Conveying Multi-Walled Carbon Nanoparticles Through Elliptical Ducts With Ciliated Walls

Abstract: In this research, a mathematical model is disclosed that elucidates the peristaltic flow of carbon nanotubes in an elliptic duct with ciliated walls. This novel topic of nanofluid flow is addressed for an elliptic domain for the very first time. The practical applications of current analysis include the customization of the mechanical peristaltic pumps, artificial cilia and their role in flow control, drug delivery and prime biological applications etc. The dimensional mathematical problem is transformed into … Show more

“…These fluctuations in thermal performance values were due to the inability of the nanofluid to find sufficient contact time with the surface due to the increase in volumetric flow. Similar results were seen in the study of Khaleduzzaman et al [46] examining the use of nanofluids in the cooling of electronic systems. The thermal performance of the nanofluid used for the empty surface at a heat flux of 454.54 W/m 2 compared to the base fluid is given in Figure 11.…”

“…A mathematical model of the peristaltic flow of multi-walled carbon nanotubes in an elliptical channel with ciliated walls was designed by Ghazwani et al [46]. According to the results obtained, it was determined that the thermal conductivity of the fluid increased, and the base fluid temperature decreased with the increase in carbon nanotube concentration.…”

“…Sharma and Unune [20] presented the thermal importance of hybrid nanofluids for EDM in a heated surface. Ghazwani et al [21] examined the peristaltic flow of carbon nanotubes due to elliptical ducts. Nadeem et al [22] observed the wavy rectangular flow of carbon nanotubes by using the eigenfunction expansion method.…”
