“…The complex ignition may start from one point to give a trade‐like product or from many points to give a sponge‐type product [22,42] . A sponge‐like morphology was observed in this study, confirming the complex is initiated from multiple points [43] . The compositional analysis was performed using the energy dispersive X‐ray (EDX) technique, as seen in Figure S3 right.…”

“…[22,42] A sponge-like morphology was observed in this study, confirming the complex is initiated from multiple points. [43] The compositional analysis was performed using the energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) technique, as seen in Figure S3 right. The amounts in percent weight for copper (7.78 wt%) and cobalt (7.77 wt%) are almost proportional to the proposed amounts during synthesis (Figure S3 right inset).…”

“…The nitrate salt precursor is the best choice due to its novel solubility, oxidizing properties, and stability. 16,17 Herein, the host-dopant reactivity balance was selected based on the hard and so acids and bases (HSAB) theory. 8,9 The mixture was dissolved at a reduced temperature (50 °C) by continuously stirring on the hot platemagnetic stirrer for about 15 minutes.…”

“…Besides, the materials are highly porous, in which the porosity occurred during the evolution of gaseous products at the precursor–PVA complex ignition temperature to give a sponge-type morphology. 44,45 The particles for ICZ-C15 seem to have a one-dimensional rod-type morphology. As seen from the author's previous studies, 46 the one-dimensional morphology was also not due to copper, confirming that it is due to iron.…”
