“…The vacancy of surface Al sites, Si sites, and Zn sites are the acid sites of Cu/Al 2 O 3 , Cu/SiO 2 , and Cu/ZnO, respectively, while the basic sites of Cu/Al 2 O 3 , Cu/SiO 2 , and Cu/ZnO are ascribed to surface oxygen vacancies. And the difference of surface conditions results in varied acid and base strength and amount of these three catalysts .
