Abstract

Insects Associated to Soursop, Annona muricata L. and Biribá, Rol/mia mucosa (Jack.)Bail in the Amazon StateIn a survey conducted in the Amazon State the following insect species associated with two Anonaceae species were considered as key pests: the fruit borer Cerconota anona/la (Sepp.) (Lepidoptera: Stenomidae), the seed borer, Bephrateiloides limai (Bondar) (Hymenoptera: Eurytomidae), and the trunk borer Cratosomus bombina (Fabricius) (Coleoptera: Curculionidae). A list ofother insect species collected and their dainage is presented as well.
