Insertion of Carbon Dioxide into Main‐Group Complexes: Formation of the [N(CO₂)₃]³⁻ Ligand

Abstract

Unter milden Bedingungen reagiert CO2 mit [Sr{N(PPh2)2}2](THF)3 unter oxidativer Abspaltung der PPh2‐Gruppen und der Bildung des Liganden [N(CO2)3]3− zu [Sr6{O2CN(PPh2)2}6{N(CO2)3}2] (siehe Struktur des Molekülkerns; Sr grün, O rot, N blau, C schwarz). Das Sr6‐Gerüst fixiert zwölf Äquivalente CO2, sechs davon durch die Bildung zweier [N(CO2)3]3−‐Liganden und die anderen sechs durch CO2‐Insertion unter Bildung des Phosphanyl‐substituierten Carbamatliganden O2CN(PPh2)2.
