Insects as source of angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitory peptides

Abstract: Hypertension is well known as one of the major risk for cardiovascular diseases which annually affect millions of people. The angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) plays a key role in blood pressure regulation process.
