Abstract: Abusca por melhoria da eficiência energética no setor automotivo representa um desafio para o desenvolvimento de baterias automotivas que afeta o setor minerometalúrgico. Muitas destas baterias são baseadas no uso do cobalto, um mineral estratégico considerado subproduto da mineração do níquel.
