La aplicación de estas técnicas puede resultar tan completa como la realizada en la restauración de la Madonna de Pietranico (Arbace et al, 2013), una estatua de terracota dañada tras un terremoto que quedó muy fragmentada con fragmentos de diferentes tamaños y pérdidas importantes. A través de los modelos 3D de los fragmentos se ha hecho un ensamblaje virtual, se han modelado o generado los faltantes y se ha realizado una reintegración cromática virtual con el objetivo de facilitar y guiar la fase de restauración.…”
