In the presented material of the Samara State Agrarian University and Don State Technical University, the results of research on improving technologies for cultivating grain corn on the drylands using nitrogen, mineral, liquid fertilisers based on a carbamide-ammonia mixture — CAM are considered: CAM-32, CAM+S produced by PJSC “Kuibyshev-Azot” (Togliatti, Samara region), introducing them with an innovative, agrochemical, modular, multifunctional complex “Tuman...” (LLC “Pegas-Agro” — Samara). With a significant demand of corn for moisture and nitrogen fertilisers, it is very difficult to get a high yield without irrigation on the drylands, and therefore various technologies for using more effective liquid fertilisers instead of solid ones are being investigated in a region with insufficient moisture supply: in the Samara region of the Volga region of the Russian Federation. CAM has specific properties to cause “burns” of corn leaves; corn is a promising, highly productive crop with a great need for a macronutrient-nitrogen in the composition of a carbamide-ammonia mixture, and therefore to minimise this disadvantage, special extension hoses should be applied to hose sprayers, but they also have a technological disadvantage: corn foliar feeding requires additional moisture in the form of intense summer precipitation for the delivery of fertilisers through the soil layer to the root system zone. Thanks to the appearance of the foreign “Duport” aggregate, this problem is solved by special injection working bodies when applying CAM in the soil internally. The successful import substitution of the Duport unit was carried out by LLC “Pegas-Agro” (Samara, Russia) as well as by many other enterprises, creating a special module: the multi-injector “Tuman” for injecting more effective CAM.

Reliability is a significant parameter of machines, mechanisms, drives, technological equipment and its component parts, including hydraulic motors. Reliability is checked and confirmed by carrying out resource tests, the results of which reveal the characteristics and properties of materials, components and working fluids that are used in the production of hydraulic cylinders and during operation. One of the practical ways to determine reliability is testing. The aim of the work is to improve the theory and methods of calculation and design of the hydromechanical drive system of the service life test bench of plunger hydraulic cylinders through the use of an energy recovery scheme that provides an increase in the energy efficiency of the testing process. Developed on the basis of the application of the theory of volumetric rigidity, a mathematical model of the hydromechanical drive system of the plunger hydraulic cylinder service life test bench made it possible to compare the influence of various design and functional parameters of the elements of the hydromechanical system of the stand on the dynamic performance and energy efficiency of its drive.

The article is devoted to into the study of the optimisation of the process of using liquid nitrogen mineral fertilisers based on a carbamide-ammonia mixture, both in the serial form of CAM-32 and in the innovative CAM+S (with the addition of the sulfur mesoelement (S)) as a top dressing for winter wheat in spring during tillering. The application process was carried out superficially on crops with large-drop nozzles with a serial rod sprayer “Tuman-2” and an injec-tion-innovative multi-injector unit “Tuman-2M”. The article presents the improvement of the technology of cultivation of winter wheat of the "Basis" variety with the use of liquid mineral nitrogen and nitrogen-sulfur-containing fertilisers. The results obtained will improve the technology of wheat cultivation and improve the quality of the crop. The results of the research are an in-crease in yield compared with the use of granular solid mineral fertilisers: ammonium nitrate with the same nitrogen equivalent from 16.7 to 2.64 t/ha or from 34.5 to 58.1% and an improvement in grain quality to the level of class I compared with class III wheat quality when it is cultivated us-ing innovative technologies described in this work.
