Under conditions of large-scale military aggression, Ukrainians had to mobilize and clearly respond to radical changes in all spheres of life. The education system updates and diversifies educational resources, disciplinary knowledge, and demonstrates readiness for all possible types of education: off-line (in regions without warfare), online (in red zones and in case of massive rocket attacks), hybrid education, individualized education (for refugees), etc. Education in war involves the use of a variety of information resources and technologies, in addition, involves research operations, selection, use, resulting in a powerful educational system response experience. In fact, in the past three years, humanity became a witness of significant changes in the information landscape available to education. Thus, it can be noted that all these reasons developed the proliferation of online learning and social platforms, the increasing complexity of information storage and sharing methods. Namely, it is the education that offers the deployment of private or free educational resources, or the generalization of content sharing platforms, community websites, or the personal blogs of teachers.

The modern transformation of the role of education affects the consideration and improvement of the methodological princes of education. At the same time, the constant development of the educational sector entails the justification of the use of certain scientific innovations and advanced technologies in the system of higher education, which is the actual task of this pedagogical research. The object of the study is innovation and advanced technology in higher education. The aim of the work is to highlight innovative means, methods, and technologies in higher education, which are promising mechanisms for improving the university system of Latvia. Pedagogical methods of research (theoretical and empirical) are used in the work. Among theoretical methods of pedagogical cognition, we will distinguish analysis, synthesis, concretization, and abstraction, systemic and functional methods. The empirical methods of research used observation, experiment, and rating method, the basis of which formed the key recommendations for the implementation of the analyzed learning technologies. The results analyzed a number of problems, in particular, the issues of innovative changes in European higher education, modern advanced technologies of learning in higher education, innovative, methods, forms of development of higher education, the problem of STEM-education functioning in Latvia. The scientific novelty of the research is the proposed synthetic analysis of actual innovative methods and technologies in the system of higher education. The practical value of the work consists in the formation of recommendations for further use of innovative methods of higher education development. In the conclusion, it is summarized that the use of innovative teaching methods is an important part of modern European education. At the same time, the main advanced technologies turn to the individual development of the student, improvement of his practical skills.
The article considers the issue of implementing project activities in the educational process of preschool education. Today, design penetrates into life phenomena, processes, spheres of society: more and more things are products of conscious human activity and are a unique way to ensure co-creation, cooperation of adults and children. Project activities allow to implement a personality-oriented approach to the upbringing and education of preschool children and promotes the development of their creative abilities, turns them into active participants in all events taking place in preschool education. The aim of the research is to reveal the essence of the concepts of «project», «project activity», as well as the peculiarities of using the method of projects in music lessons in preschool education. Project activity is the most important component of pedagogical activity. This process includes educational systems of different levels, the content of education, pedagogical technologies, management of the pedagogical process, planning and monitoring the development of educational institutions. It is shown that the method of design, a modern method of integration of activities, allows you to solve a set of problems subordinate to one topic, a variety of techniques and methods, gradually and in the system. The method is relevant and effective. It gives the child the opportunity to synthesize the acquired knowledge, develop creative abilities and communication skills. It is noted that project activities allow children to develop research skills and cognitive interest, there is an integration between common ways of solving different problems and activities. Project activities help to connect learning with life, develop communicative and moral qualities. The main task of the educator is to involve the child in the wonderful and beautiful world of music, to develop children's musical and creative abilities, to help through the artistic perception of musical images to understand the connection of musical art with the world, to form moral and aesthetic attitude to it. «Project» management of the music-educational process in the preschool institution contributes to the further improvement of music-educational work with preschool children in the modern education system.
