Innate CD8αα cells orchestrate intraepithelial lymphocytes balance and protect against colitis

Abstract: Innate CD8αα+ cells (iCD8α) are TCRneg intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL) that possess immune functions such as phagocytosis, bacteria killing, and antigen processing and presentation.
