Initial Evidence of Feasibility of Treating Sexual Desire Discrepancy Using an Online Application

Abstract: The study examined the feasibility of an online sex therapy intervention for improving sexual desire discrepancy in couples. Thirty participants and their partner completed up to eight weeks of the intervention combining sensate focus, psychoeducation, and communication. The results showed that participants made some progress each week, sessions were seen as somewhat relevant, the app was easy to use, and the exercises were challenging but not too difficult.
