“…Kissing balloon dilation was performed with a Bard Calypso balloon 3.50 mm for the LAD and 2.75 mm for the DIAG branch, both inflated at 8 atm. The stent is a modification of the BARD-XT [5][6][7], a balloon-expandable stent composed of multiple 2.15-mm-long modules consisting of zigzag rings welded to a longitudinal flexible spine. The Carina bifurcate stent is comprised of a main branch module, with two flexible spines and longer zigzag rings to allow expansion to diameters as large as 5.5 mm, and two side-branch modules, joined laterally to one of the two spines, allowing expansion up to 4.0 mm.…”
