Iniciativas comunitarias de cuidado y uso de tecnologías digitales en tiempos de la covid-19: dimensiones, prácticas, límites y potencialidades

Abstract

A partir de un trabajo de campo etnográfico hemos analizado el rol de las iniciativas comunitarias en la provisión de cuidados sociales para responder a los efectos socio-económicos derivados de la crisis de la COVID-19, y hemos indagado en el papel de las tecnologías digitales en estas iniciativas, atendiendo a sus prácticas, límites y potencialidades. Las experiencias comunitarias, con la incorporación de las tecnologías digitales, desempeñaron un papel importante en relación con el cuidado material y relacional-emocional, frente a su carácter casi testimonial en relación con el doméstico-corporal.

Experiences of health and social professionals using care technologies with older adults during the COVID‐19 pandemic: A qualitative study
