Inhibition of the different complement pathways has varying impacts on the serum bactericidal activity and opsonophagocytosis against Haemophilus influenzae type b

Abstract: Defense against Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) is dependent on antibodies and complement, which mediate both serum bactericidal activity (SBA) and opsonophagocytosis.
