Abstract: BackgroundEpilepsy is a chronic neurological disease characterized by repeated and unprovoked epileptic seizures. Developing disease‐modifying therapies (DMTs) has become important in epilepsy studies. Notably, focusing on iron metabolism and ferroptosis might be a strategy of DMTs for epilepsy.
