Ingenious Method for Conducive Handoff Appliance in Cognitive Radio Networks

Abstract: Wireless communications deployed in the current epoch claims ceaseless connection among its users thereby leading to the investigation of Cognitive Radio Networks (CRN) which enables to make use of unallocated spectrum optimally and provides uninterrupted connection. Establishing interminable connectivity during the handoff process in spectrum mobility of CRN is a challenging task. This paper elucidates the optimization of handoff process carried out in CRN by incorporating an intelligent method. This includes… Show more

“…The versatile VHO approach has been appeared to improve the framework asset usage by expanding the dependence of the MT on the WLAN, just as rationing the assets of the 5G organised for clients situated outside the WLAN. All the more significantly, the proposed half breed model gives a way to adaptable framework structure [26][27][28][29][30][31][32].…”

“…Here, PSO, specPSO, and GA swarm-based optimization algorithms are used. Dhivya et al [ 19 ] discuss about Ingenious Method for Conducive Handoff Appliance in Cognitive Radio Networks. DSA can be used to check for available channels for the SU when handoff occurs and that an improved swarm-based cognitive radio approach be used to overcome this issue.…”

“…A GA was chosen, because it is robust, not easily trapped in local maxima (or minima) and is suitable for complex problems (with a large number of variables), especially those involving mutual coupling. It has been used in many applications especially in wireless communication such in in cognitive radio networks [17].…”
