Learning using technology-based media has become the main thing in learning in the 4.0 era to support high-level life skills, one of which is thinking skills. The purpose of this study is to re-prove the use of video analysis, especially using the Youtube platform for students' Higher Order Thingking Skills (HOTs). The study used an experimental design with a factorial design in a population of 312 PJKR level IV students who were taking Sports Pedagogy lectures. The sample consisted of 79 people in the experimental group and 80 people in the control group who were taken using cluster random sampling technique. The research was conducted from April 2020 to July 2020 when online lectures were conducted during the Covid 19 Pandemic with 12 meetings. The results show that there are differences in student HOTs in the group that uses video analysis with the Youtube platform and those that do not. The difference in HOTs is also seen in gender groups. HOTs in students can be improved through video analysis on the Youtube platform with learning stages that contain the HOTs concept, namely Concept, Analitycal, Understanding Knowlede, and Create.

Self-regulated learning (SRL) and higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) are associated with academic achievement, but fostering these skills is not easy. Scholars have suggested an alternative way to scaffold these important skills through learning analytics (LA). This paper presents a formative evaluation of a course-level LA implementation through the lens of self-regulated learning (SRL) and higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). We explored the changes in students' SRL, HOTS, and perceptions at the end of the course term. Results indicate an increase in some elements of SRL and HOTS, and positive student perceptions. Discussion on implications and opportunities for informing future teaching strategies and course design reiteration are included.

Visual Analytics is very effective in many applications especially in education field and improved the decision making on enhancing the student assessment. Student assessment has become very important and is identified as a systematic process that measures and collects data such as marks and scores in a manner that enables the educator to analyze the achievement of the intended learning outcomes. The objective of this study is to investigate the suitable visual analytics design to represent the student assessment data with the suitable interaction techniques of the visual analytics approach. sheet. There are six types of analytical models, such as the Generalized Linear Model, Deep Learning, Decision Tree Model, Random Forest Model, Gradient Boosted Model, and Support Vector Machine were used to conduct this research. Our experimental results show that the Decision Tree Models were the fastest way to optimize the result. The Gradient Boosted Model was the best performance to optimize the result.
