Infusing American Indian and Alaska Native topics into the psychology curriculum.

Abstract: Substantial psychological and sociocultural information is now available about American Indians and Alaska Natives. The goal of this chapter is to provide guidelines and resources for infusing some of this information into psychology courses. In it, I first present general cultural and demographic information about these groups, and then, in more detail, discuss topics that are particularly relevant to the psychological study of Indian and Native lifeways and thoughtways.
