“…In addition to previously mentioned reasons, I believe that using of thermal agent was a contributing factor for pain relieve as supported by Gale et al who demonstrated the effectiveness of infrared radiation in chronic low back pain [40]. The transient nature of pain reduction for control group could be attributed to the constant stress and strain on the tissues developed to counteract the tendency of the upper trunk to move forwards as the center of gravity line moves more anteriorly in relation to the spinal column in hypolordotic subject as postulated by Glassman et al [41].…”

“…Hence when heat is applied on episiotomy wound vasodilatation occurs and the blood circulation to the area increases, blood contents oxygen nutrients. [34,35] However, a positive correlation between wound restorative and pain level was reported by Dash M. (2013). [36] As a final point, with technological developments ever increasing challenges of health care means and emerging health care trends, the future of nursing should asserts that nursing has a dangerous involvement in healthcare reform and the burdens for a safe, quality, patient-centered, reachable, and affordable healthcare.…”

“…Improved tissue perfusion relieves pain through promoting tissue oxygenation and facilitating the removal of inflammatory mediators such as bradykinin and histamine from the injured tissues (Gale et al . ). Moreover, according to the gate control theory, heat relieves pain by stimulating nonpain receptors in the skin and thereby closing pain pathways (Habananda ).…”
