Abstract:Infrared spectra are presented for the main optical properties of poly(methyl methacrylate) films. They are obtained from the complex permittivity using the Drude-Lorentz model for permittivity. This approach is original in obtaining the permittivity and then in obtaining the main optical properties of the polymer film. Classical dispersion analysis of the reflection-absorption spectrum of poly(methyl methacrylate) films cast on the metal mirror was used. Subsequently, the complex electric modulus, energy loss… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
