Abstract:Terahertz metamaterial absorber (TMA) has a wide range of practical values, but it is easily disturbed by infrared radiation in real applications. We present a design of a TMA with the ability of infrared absorption suppression, which uses the slit pattern on the metal surface to control the absorption spectrum. The experimental results show that the designed and processed TMA produces an absorption peak of more than 80% at the resonant frequency of 1.33THz and achieves less than 3% absorption in infrared band… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
