Abstract-The purpose of this paper that determine whether the intellectual stimulation can influence innovation which is mediated by knowledge sharing, and whether innovation can improve a firm's performance . The model tested on the 56 owners of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Tegal, Indonesia. Utilizing purposive sampling technique, with the follwing criteria, company has a workforce 5 to 100 people, engaged in the metal and machinery industry, not including to foreign-owned companies. Software analysis techniques PLS (Partial Least Square) are used in this research. The final results indicate that there are positive effects on intellectual stimulation, experiential sharing and explicit knowledge sharing; explicit knowledge sharing has a positive effect on product innovation and product innovation has a positive effect on business performance. While experiential sharing has a positive effect on product innovation, it is not significant, so the hypothesis is rejected. This study has important managerial implications, the psychological barriers that prevent employees sharing knowldge and experience can be enhanced through intellectual stimulation of transformational leaders, in this case the leader to be a role model that can be replicated and duplicated by subordinates or employees.

A B S T R A C TInvestigating how to develop information technology (IT) infrastructure that can effectively facilitate knowledge management (KM) activities has been an important research area. To contribute to the theoretical and practical developments in this research area, this study empirically examined the causal relationships among the use of strategic performance measurement systems (SPMS), organizational learning, information systems (IS) strategic alignment, IT infrastructure for KM, competitive applications of knowledge resources, and organizational performance. Through structured questionnaires, empirical data were collected from 117 Korean manufacturing firms that are listed on the Korean stock market. To analyze the empirical data, regression analyses were employed. The results of this study showed that SPMS significantly and positively influences organizational learning and IS strategic alignment. The strategic communications and dialogues between members of an organization, which are provided by SPMS, may enhance the degrees of IS strategic alignment. According to the results, it was found that both organizational learning and IS strategic alignment have significant and positive effects on the adoption of IT infrastructure for KM. Thus, the clear directions of IT development, which are formed through IS strategic alignment, seem to shape the goal orientations of members in a firm, and the organizational learning that is built with SPMS seems to enhance members' collaborations in the construction of IT infrastructure. This study also showed that when the degrees of IS strategic alignment are high, the effects of IT infrastructure on the competitive applications of knowledge resources are partially greater than under the low levels of IS strategic alignment. Finally, it was observed that the competitive usage of knowledge asset has a positive impact on the performance of an organization.

The new ventures’ international result. A relational view associated to network market orientation

This paper delves into the study of the factors that influence the international competitive position of international new ventures, and consequently, their international performance. By combining international entrepreneurship and marketing disciplines, this work attempts to emphasise the importance of relational knowledge by the influence of network market orientation on the international results obtained by these firms through the mediating effect of competitive advantages. The approach was used to test our hypotheses. The results obtained, using structural equations models and multi-sample analysis, confirm that network market orientation is a determining factor for new ventures to achieve superior international results. This influence is observed indirectly with the mediating effect on the differentiation- and cost-based competitive advantages developed by these firms. This study extends previous international entrepreneurship research, including insights from the marketing discipline on antecedents of international new ventures’ competitiveness and success in foreign markets. In addition, the results obtained encourage entrepreneurs in the international context to consider the explicit value of other factors different from experiential knowledge, which the company acquired gradually with increasing its experience in the foreign market, to realize the potential value of relational knowledge associated to network market orientation as an antecedent for the achievement of competitive advantages in the international market.
