Information technology has an important role in carrying out company management activities. It is important that information technology is managed properly so that no risks arise that could endanger the company. Companies can implement information technology risk management through risk management audits. An audit on information technology risk management can help evaluate companies by identifying information technology risks and minimizing information technology risks. Such audits can be carried out with the help of the COBIT framework. This study intends to conduct a systematic literature review on risk management audits related to information technology using the COBIT framework. Literature search from IEEXplore, ScienceDirect and Garuda Kemdikbud database sources. Papers were selected based on inclusion criteria. Inclusion criteria include paper language is Indonesian and English, paper is published between 2019-2023, the paper describes COBIT in IT risk management audits, and paper is available as full text. The results obtained were 24 papers. There are two criteria for assessing paper quality, namely the paper contains the COBIT framework used for IT risk management audits and the paper contains the COBIT domain used. The results of the analysis of research questions indicate that COBIT 5 is a guide used by many researchers in information technology audits for risk management. COBIT 5 provides a complete and comprehensive risk governance guide for measuring enterprise IT risk management. Implementation of COBIT 5 in IT risk management audits to assist in risk assessment and risk management in order to minimize and prevent IT risks that may occur. Domain APO12 (Manage Risk) and EDM03 (Ensure Risk Optimization) as a reference in conducting IT risk management.

The significant enhancement in demand for bring your own device (BYOD) mechanism in several organizations has sought the attention of several researchers in recent years. However, the utilization of BYOD comes with a high risk of losing crucial information due to lesser organizational control on employee-owned devices. The purpose of this article is to review and analyze the various security threats in BYOD; further we review the existing work that was developed in order to reduce the risks present in BYOD. A detailed review is presented to detect BYOD security threats and their respective security policies. A phase-by-phase mitigation strategy is developed based on the components and crucial elements identified using review policy. Managerial-level, social-level and technical level issues are identified such as illegal access, leaking delicate company data, lower flexibility, corporate data breaching, and employee privacy. It is analyzed that collaboration of people, security policy factors and technology in an effective manner can mitigate security threats present in the BYOD mechanism. This article initiates a move towards filling the security gap present the BYOD mechanism. This article can be utilized for providing guidelines in various organizations. Ultimately, successful implementation of BYOD depends upon the balance created between usability and security.

Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) is a phenomenon whereby an employee brings their own computing devices to work with them and use them in addition to or instead of company-supplied devices. BYOD helps organization to cut cost and improve the utilization of organizational resources. However, the impacts and phenomenon of BYOD is still unknown and scarcely discuss within the body of knowledge; warrant for further exploration of the topic. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to develop and validate an instrument to measure BYOD and its productivity. The research went through various empirical stages. Based on other studies, a list of predictors and dependent variables was adopted. Based on the variables that have been identified, a pilot instrument was created in the second step. Third, an expert review process was used to validate the instrument. The face validity and reliability investigation of possible respondents was completed. As a result, a reliable instrument with six variables and thirty items was created to measures BYOD and productivity in the context of universities students in Malaysia.
